One day....

One day I will get to tell my children that my first presidental election was the one when the first african american president was elected. I am not here to preach about politics because I hate it when people try to preach to me about it so I will not do it on here. After hearing the results of the election I was talking with my roommates and we realized how much of history we have lived through. Not only with this presidental election but also with Sept 11th, the war in Iraq, and just so much more. Being able to live through a time where I will have so many memories and stories to tell my children about where I was at the exact time I found out about this election, and Sept 11th is just amazing.

Enough about history.....So it has been a really long time since I last wrote.... I started school and am almost done with this semester. This semester has been amazing....I have been given the chance to actually teach lessons to 2nd grade students, being able to teach and to get positive feedback from my professors has just reassured me that I am really ready and able to do this profession that I chose. I have had so much fun this semester between school, and social life and working. I feel like god has been so generous to me this year in just giving me an amazing year!!!!!
